I know the word flower is in the class, the fabric used is to have a 24 inch repeat. I have come across a fabric that has that, but is a kite pattern there is lots of white in it. My question is can it be used. Has anyone done one in anything but a flower pattern. I think it would be nice.

I know on a Whack 'n Stack if the fabric has a lot of space in between mofits it doesn't look as good. Sorry I haven't been much help, good luck.

Not sure if this is a plus or minus, this is done on a grid, fusible and it is all little squares, maybe I should have said it was white background instead of a color as it usually is, I liked the white. And if I do not get this material will still pick up. Thanks.

I thought it an advantage to have a distinct pattern, spaced far enough apart that when sewed back together would look fractured. I might be wrong here. Have to do some research and ask about this.

You are correct on this. Have seen fractured wall hangings and quilts done in other than flowers. I think the kite would be great-post when done. :) Good Luck and enjoy.

Thank you, I thought that might be the case. There are 24inch repeats in fabrics, but they are busy enough I am not totally sure the fractured effect would show.
