I am back-slid quilter and embroiderer. I took a ten year hiatus, but I have seen the light and am back in the swing! I'm sure most of you ladies know this little hint, but for those of you that are new (or have backsliddin' like me) here is a hint on keeping those tangled spools of thread neat and tidy. Go to the dollar store and pick up a card of those soft knitted litte girl ponytail holders and slide them over your thread. A picture is worth a 1000 words so here is my 1000 words below. :D

Great idea, I keep my thread oon racks hanging on the wall ends are always dangling, this will certainly. Tidy it up..

I put them on my bobbins too. Keeps the thread nice and tidy and you don't get a thread tangle mess.

you can also use the window cling stuff,the stuff you put on windows to keep sunrays out.Cut it into strips and wrap around you spools/cones of thread.

That's a great idea too...that might be great for yarns to!
