Hi,
Does anyone know where to buy the template tools that Kaye Wood uses in her video for the Double Wedding Ring quilt. I am currently paper piecing a double wedding ring quilt but this video makes it look so simple with the tools that she uses. http://www.kayewoodtv.com/ktv/?dlink..._That_Bind.flv |
On the Kaye Wood website, it calls it an Arc-Ease tool
http://www.kayewood.com/item/Rings_T...d_Template/373 It looks like you can also get them on Cheryl Phillip's site as well... http://phillipsfiberart.danemcoweb.c...ategory/tools/ That does look really cool. I hope I remember it when I go to make one. Sometimes it is so much easier on myself if I get a tool that makes life easier. It is so worth it in the end. The cost is worth it for peace of mind for me at least :) |
Okay, thanks for the info. I'll check it out. Yes, it does look so much easier this way.

Oh this just isn't fair. I always figured this would be a hard pattern to sew together and I just can't quilt large quilts. My machine doesn't have a big enough opening. BUT....I love this, and the templates are on sale too. I have to stop looking at this board, I'm going broke. Just kidding. I thought I knew a lot. But I don't know anything. I learn something here each and every day. My head is spinning.

I purchased my sets of the rulers direct form Cheryl on her site listed above. I have made several table runners with the rulers and she is right, they do make the process easy. The only problem I had was getting the corners to meet. After some practicing I did get it mastered.

I just found the book with the arc easel tool on ebay so I bought it. It was new and a few dollars cheaper. I can't wait to get it. I think it's just so neat because you can sew, quilt and bind it all in one process. How cool is that?
