I didn't get a book a while age and now I think it is out of print. It had triangle trees that were tesselations. I think by a person famous for tesselations. Has anyone seen a book with that type of pattern ?

I have the book "Tesselations" by Jackie Robinson, but there are no tree patterns in it. You might Google her name and see what comes up.

Check www.jinnybeyer.com. I know her book is out of print but you might find some ideas at the website.

This is a great design too but the one I am infatuated with has more upright trees between the others so they seem to go back like into a forest. I like yours and I think I will try it like a log cabin look with many green strips but that other pattern is out there somewhere. A member just mentioned Jenny Beyer and I think she is the creator of the one I missed out on. I did not buy the book at the quilt show I was at and regretted it.I've been looking for it ever since but when I asked at Barnes and Noble they thought it was out of print. Thank you for another possibility to try but knowing ol' gum to a shoe me I don't want to miss the other one forever.

Jenny Beyer wrote the book Designing Tessellations : The Secrets of Interlocking Patterns. It's fantastic if you want to learn all about tessellations using fabric.

There's an interactive website where you can create you own tessellations.

Lots more than just that one page, so look around.

I'm so glad you showed this to me. It has lots of potential uses. Amazed me it is possible to do this. A new toy!
