textile/sewing tours question

Has anyone ever taken a tour with Marie Yolande? There is a 10 day textile/sewing tour in July covering Paris and Normandy that looks really interesting but I've never taken a tour before and it's kind of expensive. The comments on her site all register fabulous, but obviously they would. The advantage for me is it hits some of the places I've been wanting to visit for a while, but my best traveling buddy hadn't been able to take the time off from work to do any really serious traveling lately.

Any input would be gratefully appreciated.

Go for it!!! My Mom had booked a trip and was going to go with a buddy. Well the day before her buddies husband got very ill and she had to cancel. My Mom was torn as to what to do but , kept think about the money she would loose. Well she went by herself and had the time of her life. She has contined to take annual trips ever year by herself , and looks forward to meeting people along the way.
It sounds like there is more reasons to go , places you always wanted to see, plus fabric/sewing/textiles!! Life is to short to wait for all of the stars to allign perfectly. Just go for it!

Great places to visit. Like minded people. New and interesting ideas. Fabric. Sounds like there is nothing to loose and plenty of fun times to gain. Guess I will be what you make of it.

I have traveled by myself for many years. I took a quilt tour to Sisters, Oregon, Alaska, France, Vermont, etc. I love taking these trips as I meet such interesting people, strong women, and enjoy the aspect of fabric and quilting. The first time I went on a tour I agreed to have a roommate. We became fast friends and we still keep in touch. I say, Go for it. Live is short. I went with two different tour groups, one I liked better than the other. Your group leader can make or break a great tour.
