This site has given me so much pleasure and ideas. I just want to stop and say Thank You to all who participate here. I start my day with my coffee and Quilting Board.

Yuppers. Me, too. I love sitting here with my coffee, my dog by my side, and my laptop on my lap, with quilt board and all my new friends. Love this board and all who contribute.

Drinking my coffee now also. This a good place to begin my day. Checking on my friends. GOOD MORNING TO ALL.

It's 10.02 am and I am here but I have already cooked dinner...a huge pot of red kidney beans, steakums (thin slices cut off of a bottom round and season and sauted with onions and sweet pepper, it makes it's own gravy) cucumber salad.

Later I will cook a pot of rice. Yesterday, I made bread.

Then I painted a doll's face and will work on her as soon as I get dressed and get off this board lol.....I got up at six am. I have started to change my bedtime and I like this early day...get a lot done and plenty of time for the board.....love it here.

The entire day is mine now ....I do these things because I don't want to clean the house...hubby is happy to do that as long as I cook hahahahahahah

I'm guilt too!! Everyday I learn something new! I have met a lot of GREAT PEOPLE in this site! Thank you!! :-o

Had to laugh at this cause you sound just like me. I get up in the morning check for new posts. and throughout the day I am always popping in to see what is going on. I am going to have withdrawls if I ever go back to work. lol..

Sure Susan you can come see little man but you better hurry because he is suppose to go fishing with Daddy if this drizzle ever stops.

Count me in friend!!! May day is not complete without a swing thru "the Board". If I don't make it in the morning I try to at nite after the end of a long day. Boy have I learned alot from everyone and got my best bud on here too! Love the swaps and seeing everyone's goodies they make. And the friends I have made....too many to mention. Love, love, love it!!!!!!!

Need to get some housework done, but when I take a break, I'll be right back here, enjoying all the folks on here. For this quilter, this is heaven on earth!! Blessings all!!

What could possibly be wrong about starting your day sharing your favorite hobby with like-minded friends??? I don't think a day goes by that I don't check in here at least once! And when I finally manage to finish a quilt, I can hardly wait to post it here--you guys always get first peek!

I start, end and all the time in between my day with the Quilting Board. I'm seriously thinking about limiting my time on the Board. I just afraid that I will miss something............

I do agree this is the best site on the internet! There are so many kind, loving and generous people that I think this must be a part of heaven. I just hope I am able to give as much as been given, especially all the smiles. Wouldn't it be something if someday we could all gather together and meet each and every one! Being a person who lives alone I know I must get the best benefit of all, for I can come here and join all the wonderful people to share ideas, patterns, information and even opinions. I love it here too! It's wonderful and inspiring to me to know that there are so many wonderful people here that love to quilt and sew and explore new ideas together...

Me, too -- if I didn't spend so much time enjoying this site, reading my mystery books, working on my quilting projects, and walking the dog, I could have a clean house and maybe the yard of the month -- but lol, there would not be as much joy and happiness in my life -- besides, as one of quilting friends says, dust needs a place to live too.

What better way to start a day with great friends.
