I'd like to work through some variations for kids' quilts, and I'd just prefer having a book over combing the internet for ideas (or having to think too much....).

Are you looking for just blocks? If so, Carrie Hall's book is good (It has 800 designs) or I just got the Encyclopedia of Quilt Pieced Patterns (4000 designs). But they're just blocks.
