I have written down in my notes to check out a split four patch pattern. When I googled it, I didn't find it...just split 9 patch and a bunch of four patch patterns.

Is there such a thing? I put it in Search here too and didn't find anything. Guess I dreamed this. See, I have heard that a split 9 patch was a bit tricky, and I haven't been quilting that long, so I thought a split 4 patch might be worth looking into for me.

Maybe I dreamed it?

I guess you could do the same with a 4 patch as you do for the disappearing 9 patch. Interesting. Try it. As a quilter, you know you are allowed to do your patches anyway you like! As someone said not too long ago, if we didn't experiment, we'd still be doing only 4 patches.

Sorry didn't see that when I responded to your question. That is very cute - the disappearing 4 patch.

Last week I found a youtube video on Diasppearing 4 patch. That was the first I heard of them.
