Thread color for Halloween quilt
OK, any of you who have made a Halloween quilt, what color did you quilt with? It is a simple pattern really, 9 patch of mixed Halloween prints, and every other row has a solid square between 9 patch squares. The solids are orange, lime green, purple and black. This is only my second quilt and will be my first one I quilt myself. Appreciate your help!

I use a grey for everything, it blends.
I'd probably go with black.
I just did one but it was very busy - I used a white to gray to black varigated
I used variegated gold on top and black in the bobbin.

There is glow in the dark thread at joanns. we sell tons of it this time of year.
I would do black. :)

Just made one with a busy Halloween print.Used a lilac that blended well
Black is what I would use.Or white in spiderweb design
Id go with black, unless you have money to burn, then id go glow in the dark

I like making things reversible for the holidays. So for the fall (Halloween, Thanksgiving and the season) I made the other side Christmas and used a fall colored varigated on one side and a Christmas one on the other side. It turned out great.

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking black too, or maybe a varigated - had forgot about those. I am a very new quilter I have to keep it simple. The idea of a reversible is a great idea though, I will have to remember that tip. I knew I would get good advice on here, this board rocks.

I love the glow-in-the dark thread for Halloween quilts.
