Has anyone seen this machine in person? I watched the Youtube sneak peak and am intrigued. It had an original launch date of July and has been pushed back to December. I am trying to decide between the Accucut Go and the Sizzix version fabric cutter. (I have a significant investment in Sizzix Original dies as it is and use many of them for fusible applique). I know Sizzix had mixed results with their original electric die cutting machine. I am afraid the had crank of the Go will still be difficult for some of my charity quilting friends. I want something that can go home with my quilting friends and be a blessing. It should be so wonderful that we fight over who gets to use it next!

The Go is not hard to crank at all. Just be sure it is at a low level, I use mine just below waist high and do not rotate my shoulder just my elbow. It loosens up with use. I have tried the Sizzix but prefer the Go. I haven't seen the Vagabond die cut machine.

I don't know if you've considered the Studio, but that's the machine that is actually recommended for groups and guilds. It's easier to crank with more layers and will take the abuse of many people using it. A Go is not made to be used commercially or by a lot of people.

The Yahoo Group confirmed your reply, that the Go is not recommended for groups or numerous hands using it.
