I was at a website today and decided to look at her clearance books. I saw one I thought I would like for $10.00 on clearance.
I thought that was high so I went to Half..com and they had some there and the one I picked out was 75¢ plus shipping. In new condition.
This book was printed in 1984 and should have been out of print by now. So if you see something go to one of the book sites and you can probably get a deal.

That's the only place my daughter buys books--and both kids go there first for college texts.
amazon often has great used book prices too.

If you don't mind recycled library books, betterworld has cheap prices and free US shipping. Proceeds go towards promoting world literacy. They carry new books, also.

I'm not sure why or how used books get priced. The used book stores around me charge half the cover price, and that is too much.
