When I was in Chat tonight, it froze on me in the middle of a conversation, and wouldn't post any messages for about five minutes. Is this normal? Just wondering.

Oh, BTW, I really enjoyed chatting with everyone who was there tonight. It was pretty late when I saw the notice, but I did get to chat for a few minutes before the others started signing off. And I learned a couple of new (for me) quilting terms.

Yes, that's a fairly common occurrence. Usually, when you get bumped like that, you can hit refresh and if you swing a chicken over your head while singing Inna Gadda da Vida, it may jumpstart it. More often than not, I need to open a different browser to get back in. It seems to be worse when the room is full.

Other times it just picks on certain people, and will bump the same person off time and time again - very frustrating when you are the chosen one. When you are trying to leave the room, it tends to lock up, also.

We love it though, quirky as it is.

I have the problem whereas my pc won't let me in the room, well, it will let me in, but I get the message that I'm not connected. In order for me to get in, I have to swipe the lappie from my daughter and that's a bit hard to do at times. The only time I can get it with no problem is when she is at school.
I've tried everything that Admin and others have suggested with still no help on this PC....oh well.........

Ah-HAH! So that's the secret! I know the words to the song...now does it have to be a live chicken or will a frozen drumstick work?

It freezes on me everytime, I will be typing a response and nothing happens, so I just quit going on for awhile.

i have probably been there 3-4 times and enjoyed the time I could actually chat, but each time i would disappear. After the last time, bc it happened right after I got on, I just gave up. I would really like to know why also. :shock: :roll: :?: thanks if anyone knows. C
