Is transfereeze better or the same as the solvay sheets in hand embroidery?
I have to pick up some more of the Transfereeze sheets to finish up some redwork I am doing. Has anyone used both of them? In order for me to get Transfereeze I will have to order online. While the Solvay (not sure if I have the spelling correct) is available in a near by quilting store. I am finding with the transfereeze I do not need to use a hoop, it stiffens up the fabric nicely, which is fine as I find the hoops a little awkward to worth with. Any thoughts and thank you.

Transfereeze is the same as "sticky fabri-solvy" by Sulky.

Thanks for that bit of information, will look for the Sulky transfer when I am in the quilt shops.

I am unfamiliar with this product. I have started to do a redwork series so would be interested in knowing what this is, the purpose, and where to buy it. Thank you.

I picked up the Transfereeze sheets last summer at a quilt shop while on vacation. I do like it as the pattern can be copied and printed from my printer. Take off the paper backing lay the printed film on backing fabric and the pattern is there, away you go. So easy. Now, I have not had a chance to see how this stuff will come off when I am done all of the blocks.
