Do you ever get a feeling that something is going to come around and be popular? Like when bears where all the rage etc.

I get this feeling that Hippos are comming hahahhahaa...I went to a local quilt guild show today and saw the cutest pattern for a Hippo doll, it was adorable. My LSQ had it in their booth....I will saunder over there in a few days and see what else is giving me a feeling.

I had the same feeling about elephants and I saw a magnificant Elephant quilt.

I did buy a kit to make a pirate quilt. I couldn't resist and I have the perfect child to make it for. The kit even came with a pirate hat...so cute.

I also bought a panel of colorful animals...dinos etc, very cute and colorful for another child.

My friend was just telling me she thinks lobsters are going to be "it" for a while.

Owls and monkeys seem to be really popular here.

Can't help but laugh about the hippo pattern because one of my favorite shows, NCIS, has a hippo that, um, how to put this delicately, toots when squeezed! Would love to have that just for my hubby who apparently thinks that is the funniest gift God ever gave to man! So the idea that hippos might be the coming rage gives me hope of finding such a toy!

Yes Owls, have been in for a while now and still are. Lobsters? lol...I can't imagine but will wait and see what comes around.
