LOL -laugh out loud DH - dear husband ds - dear son DD - dear daughter HST - half square triangles FQ - fat quarter LQS - local quilt shop PIMP - pee in my pants These are the ones that come to mind. There was another thread going around about the lingo and it had some great web links to help you out. Try doing a search and see what you find. I'm sure someone has something..this board is very knowledgeble. |

Oh thank you for the translations... I have been struggling to read some of the abbreviations & expressions myself. When you been away from sewing for so long and never connected sewing, quilting and the computers.. wow a whole new world!! I mean heck.. what do I need a Jelly Roll for to make a quilt. I am fat enough..
