After seeing all the gorgeus TT quilts that have been made, I want to try and make one. I googled turning twenty and came up with several different pattens/books.

Is there a TT pattern that would be good for a beginning quilter to use? Can it be made in different sizes?

The original TT patern only has three pieces in the main blocks, a fourth piece is used for the border. These are so easy! You can use as many or few blocks as you like, twenty make a nice quilt for a double bed if you put it on sideways and don't cover the pillow area. If you want it smaller or larger just keep putting more or less rows of blocks untill it's the size you want. Fun to make because it's pretty and fast.
