Does anyone out there own a Viking sapphire and have it in an industrial table that allows the machine to lay flat into the table? I looked online and cant find a source that sells this. I want a sturdy one that wont topple over if a 5 year old should come leaning on it :lol:

I have a Horn Quilters Dream. It's sturdy and the Sapphire fits in it fine. It wasn't cheap but it fits in my sewing room. I wish I could adjust it for height, but I guess you can't have everything.

I have had this table for the past couple years and find it really great. It is very sturdy, functional and clean looking with several options for size and extras. Several friends have purchased this and like it as well.

P.S. I have a Viking SE in mine - the insert is cut to the dimensions of your machine - Tony has all the machine sizes to make a correct cut.

I like that...got to save my pennies up for that one! If I could just stay out of the quilt shop for awhile! LOL

If you look at some of the closeup pics, the bar I think you are referring to is at the back.

No - the bars are a help not a problem!
The lowest horizontal support - I have velcro-ed my foot pedal to and it is at a good height and doesn't move around.

The middle horizontal cross bars on the legs structure - my DH has made a wooden shelf that goes across that is not in the way of bumping any knees. I store my thread container boxes on this shelf for easy access.

The only accessory extras I really think are necessary (for me), are the foot pads and the sewing machine insert. The insert is why you are buying this table in the first place!

This is a functional, sturdy, attractive alternative to expensive cabinetry by Koala and Horn, for example. It also fits into smaller sewing room areas. I found this option when Tony brought his first tables to his first major quilt show in New Hampshire as a vendor. He had a tremendous response and has made additional table size options, as you see now, at the feedback from customers for what they thought they needed.
