Visiting New Orleans for a day on cruise ship
 
I will be visiting New Orleans for a day in March and would love to have a bit of fabric therapy whilst there! Can anyone advise on shops to visit? Many thanks.:o

Mes Amies (sp?) quilt shop is great. It's small but full of stuff and great staff. Last time I was there they has several FW's for sale also.

Mes Amis is great and they've had some fabric on sale 35% off until she sells out. Also there is the Quilted Owl on Jefferson Hwy and Bright Hopes Quilt Shop on the northshore of Lake Pontchartrain (about a 45 minute drive from New Orleans but a lovely drive across the lake-$3 toll to get back). There's also a Hobby Lobby on the northshore. I think you'll be happy with all three. Nice ladies at all shops.
