Visiting Salt Lake City
We are going to Salt Lake Mar 28 for a week and of course I'll have to visit some quilt shops. Can someone tell me the best ones and the 'must not miss' ones?

I am will be watching this with interest, as we also will be visiting Salt Lake City in September
|
Quilters Haven in Colonial Square in North Salt Lake (just north of Salt Lake), is a great one, my personal favorite.
|
SLC is a quilting mecca. Problem is the best places are not close into the City
|
Piper Quilts. the best in SLC area. worth the drive.

Quilter's Haven 583 W 2600 SBountiful, UT 84010 801-292-1846
Went to this shop and it is neat as a pin. Great place for inspiration as they have a lot of samples. Prices are LQS. The bargain stuff is down the stairs on the way into classroom. Lots of wool projects and wool, too. I think they had a lot of Kansas Troubles fabric, too. |
I hope you enjoy your visit to SLC. Quilts, Etc. in Sandy (south of downtown area) is wonderful, staff helpful. Pine Needles in Gardner Village is very nice. Getting around SLC is easy. I have lived in SLC all my life and have visited all quilt shops from one end of state to the other. Send me a private message if you want more details, etc.
