Walking Foot

It works much better when installed properly. I wondered why my first line across the quilt just didn't look right. When I bumped the foot putting the quilt through the harp I knocked it loose (I put it back on)....but I forgot to put the little arm on the post. DUH, it doesn't work very well not engaged.

Most of us do have a DUH moment now and then!
Glad you figured out what the problem was. :p

Mine makes a clackety-clackety noise when it's not engaged. (Ask me how I know.)

My darning foot came loose once and if I had not been wearing glasses think I might have lost an eye. Now I make darn sure the feet are on tight.
