WalMarts here did away with bolts of fabric. All we have now are fat quarters and a few choices of Jelly rolls, some fat eights bundles and some really nice quality fat quarter bundles. The quality fat quarter bundles have 5 fat quarters for $10. /but limited to pastel or dark fabric. The single fat quarters are $1 each which comes to $4 a yard but most of it is from $2 fabric they use to sell. I did notice that new June Taylor rulers were on the shelf. The new HST ruler, the circle ruler, and circle template ruler, the three square ruler pack, and the fussy cut square ruler. I buy quilt shop fabric on clearance at the online shops. I find great buys online. I got 100 top notch fat quarters for $99 from Keepsakes Quilting with free shipping. Same cost as Walmart but much better quality. :D

People can say what they want about Walmart but I love my store and frequent it a lot.

i scored two new cutting mats at my local wallyworld last weekend. one is a full 24" x 36". the other is a 13" square rotating mat. both were under $25.

and neither one smells bad. ;-)
