Hi friends,
Finally got to the huge store and not only don't they have a fabric department, but no Brother embroidery machines.

I was hoping to at least look at one, as Carrieanne said she got one (and for a great price!) at hers.

That store was so gigantic the lights made me kind of hyper.
The one closer to me is not a super store.

Oh well, there were Girl Scouts selling my fav cookies so it wasn't a total wash lol

Can you check online? They usually have really good descriptions and free shipping.

Good idea, they also have a site to store feature and will send it to your store and you pick it up there.

Overstock.com did have the brother embroidery machines at a good price. They're reconditioned. I have one. It is about 4 years old and I hardly used it at all and it broke. I don't think I want another Brother.

I may get one on Amazon. But I wouldn't buy a used one anywhere !!

all I can say is Bernina.. I love my 440QE!! and now I am still playing with the 200 upgraded to the 730 that my friend has for sale.

Fidgety, I have a Bernina, a 150 QE and I love it. Don't want to spend a ton on something else. Unfortunately mine doesn't have the embroidery capability :(

You are really, really better off going to a reputable dealer and buying a "pre-loved" machine. Machines should be serviced every year and if anything goes wrong a good dealer with on-site repairs is a blessing. I work very part-time at a Viking dealership and you just wouldn't believe the amount of crap our tech pulls out of machines!

Yeah but if you plan on using it alot then a good reputable machine would last you longer and you have a bigger field for embroidery.
