I am about to use this for the first time, can you tell me which side is the wrong side and which is right side---ie --does the smooth side face the backing??
|
I don't think it matters, at least I haven't ever worried about that and my quilts are fine when w & n is used.

both sides of the quilt will be equally cuddled on! |
I woudn't think there was any right or wrong side to batting!
|
I never pay any attention to it either :D:D:D
|
Gee - I never thought about this before. I just put it together and it always is ok :)
|
I follow what has been said on this board. "Salt & pepper" side up,
smoother side down. Not sure if it really matters but I prefer the smoother side to touch my skin. ;) |
there is no right and wrong side of batting, the batting just goes in the middle it is the same on both sides.

Most, but not all battings have a scrim on the wrong side. That side goes down next to the backing. Or so that's what I was told when I first got my LA.
