a senior moment here - how far apart can the quilting be when using W and N batting. Is 4" to far apart? I can't remember if W and N will bunch up after washings if not quilted close enuf.

It should say on the paper or wrapping that comes with it

I think W&N is about 8-10 apart, maximum.

I have some Warm & Natural and here's what's on the label:
Will not separate or bunch. Contains No Resins or Glues. Will Not Beard. Leave up to 10 Inches Open. Use as an Exterior Craft Fabric. Gives Character to Soft Sculpture. Pre-washing is not necessary. Once quilted, machine wash and dry. Stitch up to 10" apart. There will be a 3% shrinkage with the first wash. Optional Pre-Wash Instructions: 1. Hand Wash mild detergent. Do not agitate or spin in washer. 2. Soak for 20 minutes, then rinse several times. 3. Squeeze out water. Do not wring. Rolling in a towel will help 4. Dry in a warm dryer, or lay flat to dry. Hope this helps. |
