Has anyone ever washed their Bow Tucks bags? I have carried mine so much that it needs a good cleaning.

A friend of mine washed her Bow Tucks that I had made for her. I use a cardboard bottom so she took that out, washed it on gentle cycle and she said it came out fine. Consider the button though, you might want to remove that depending on what kind you have.

I took the bottom insert out of mine and washed it on gentle and dried it in the dryer. It came out great!

I often wash my cloth bags with good results. I use cold water and a gentle agitation. I even partially dry in the dryer on a medium heat. I take them out and hand shape them, hang them then to finish drying......so far, had no mishaps....:)!

I've washed mine several times. I put spot stuff on any extra dirty parts, and then throw it in. I have a front loader and it is already pretty gentle. I do wash it alone though. I used plastic canvas for the bottom and the plastic is sewn into its own envelope so I can wash that too. I do take an iron to it after it is dry, just to perk it up.

Mu concern is fading, since I didn't prewash my fabric. I rarely pre-wash fabric because I like the crispness of new fabric....so I will give it a try and see what I wind up with.
