I started moving fabric today and realized a lot of my recent purchases haven't been washed yet. I have a full load going all in one color family!! I am thinking about adding some liquid starch at the end and then spending the rest of the afternoon watching movies while I press all the fabric.....
Have any of you used liquid starch this way? How did it turn out for you? Ditter |
i am no help i dont wash my fabric but i do was for the swaps and that is a small amount so i spray as i iron

It is well worth a try :D:D:D
Let us know how it works for you! I starch all of my fabrics, too! |
I usually don't wash (unless it is for a swap) so I don't know if it would work. Worth a try.

I wouldn't starch fabric I was just going to put in the stash. Starch is bug food. Especially the liquid starches.
I wouldn't wash and iron fabric I was just going to put in my stash. Fabric has a finish that helps keep the sun from fading it as bad. When I prewashed I did it right before I started cutting so it was freshly ironed and starched when I started cutting. |
Thanks scissor queen. This fabric won't be in my stash long...It will go into my next quilt.
The liquid starch did a good job...most of the fabric just needed a touch up along the selvages. I hate the mess with spray starch.... Ditter |
