I've been snowed in so I decided to use up scraps and make a table runner. I carefully used my Twister Tool which gives bias edges where the border attaches. I sewed the borders on and boy are they wavy. Now how do I fix the borders before I try to make the quilt sandwich? I wanted to try adhesive spray on the sandwiching part. Hope someone can help me out here because it is too darn cold to go to the LQS for help.

I'd take the borders off and do some stay-stitching that you can ease up to make the edges the same measurement as the middle of the quilt, then re-apply the borders to fit. Those bias edges get me every time unless I do this.

Heavy handed steam pressing might help.

Try taking the borders off and remeasure. Their length should match the measurement down the center. I am in the process of doing the very same thing!

Try soaking down the edges. let them dry naturally overnite and they should go back to it's original shapes. Of course, being bias edges, this may help them as well. Don't touch until it has dried overnight.
