I'm pretty sure this survey didn't account for what we all spend on our travels to shops, shows and retreats, on meals, hotels, gas or group bus trip tickets etc ... not to mention the sales of merchandise between individuals, plus online and via forums such as this one ... I'm sure there is a LOT more $$$ spent than even the 3.6 Billion :)

I know I definitely spend more on quilting than golfing and gardening. think I'll start tracking how much I spend (not counting my new Tin Lizzie)

Let's start bombarding HGTV with request for quilting shows, maybe they will listen to us. Does anyone have a name of someone in the main office for HGTV for us to start sending letters and emails?
