I have never seen a freebie for this pattern; but, I have made the quilt. It is a very interesting pattern. Just be careful to line up your blocks correctly.

You can get Weaver Fever from patternsonline.com. for $3.99 and down load it or they will send it to you for a dollar or so more.

I know it's been a long time since you sent out that you have the weaver fever pattern - do you still have it?

I am just finishing one this weekend. Lots and lots of cutting and sewing but it is beautiful! I will post when finished. I googles weaver fever to get the pattern but none free I could see.

I think I saw tutorial online but I have a quilt class to go to today and can't find it right now. I'll look as soon as I get home and post the link.

The blog that had the tute is no longer online. I watched the Fons and Porter video online and they give great organizational hints, how to sew the strip sets, and show how to sew the one block you need for the quilt. But they don't give the strip set order, you have to have the pattern to know what order the strips sets are sewn in to make the pattern work. You can use three, four, or five colors in the strip sets. I like their video to go with the pattern so you can see what the book is actually saying to do. You may figure it out by watching the show but it would be less frustrating to buy the pattern.

Jackie Robinson is the designer of the original Weaver Fever the one at patternsonline says their pattern is by DJ'S Dreams. It looks exactly the same. Now doesn't that seems to violate every copyright law that had been drilled into us? I don't understand it at all. How is one different from the other?

Okay found out why. The one at patternsonline is not a quilt pattern.   It's a stitch pattern, I'm guessing for embroidery machines. Wow I was getting very confused.

Does anyone have a copy of the magazine they'd be happy to sell and ship to me in Australia please? I love this quilt and would like to make it for the Aussie version of Quilts of Valor for the currently serving men and women of the Aussie Defence forces.

I actually only want the pages of the magazine that refer to the pattern, so to save on weight for postage, would you be willing to rip the pages out the magazine after I've paid for the whole magazine....as I only want the pattern sent to me!

Hugs Naomi
