Here's what squares I had and blocks all sewn together now I just have to find some fabrics to put with it as it's only 47" x 67.5" so far. What do you think? I think it's so pretty and I love scrappy quilts!

I love this. This remind me of the ones my grandma and I did many yrs ago.
Great scrappy so far. love it
Looking good! I love the scrappies!!
My daughter is making her first quilt like this. Using 3 In squares, but the problem is that I was not watching her close enough and her seams are all wonky so now she has to take them apart. She became discouraged and now won't work on it. I have plenty of material for her to cut up since all I have is scraps in my stash. yours looks amazing, keep up the good work. Beth

Looks really good, I really like scrappy.

Love scrappy quilts. Yours is so colorful!!!!
Love the combination of fabrics!
I have one like that myself, (around 25 blocks ) waiting to be put together. Seeing yours is inspiring. I think I need to unearth this UFO and start woking on it.
Congrats on your scrappy quilt. |
I love scrappies also. Great job and keep up the good work!
That is the quilt I like to be scrappy....like a utility quilt that my Grandma would have made.
Very Nice. This is a great lap size. Scrappy is my new favorite pattern. Great way to use what I have but still find the urge to buy more.
Really nice! Aren't scrappies a great way to use up all those little pieces of fabric!
What a nice scrappy quilt. Maybe an inner and outer border would make it the size you need. Post a picture when you finish.
Very pretty. I have been making quilts with my scraps, just finished one with spring looking scraps. I just need to post the pictures.
Love it :)
How about a narrow inner border of white/ cream to tie it all together, then we can help you decide on what color for an outer border? Love scrappy quilts.
It looks great!! I'm keeping all of my scraps so I can make a scrappy quilt!
An excellent was to use up those small amounts of fabric left over from other projects.
I think it looks great. I love scrappy quilts too.
Awesome! Scrappies are my fave! :)
WOW, scrappy is the best. I need to make one for me
Looks great! Keep it growing!
Sew nice scrappies are my favorite!!
nice. a couple borders will enlarge it, if you want.
Great piecing and I really like how you arranged the scraps in four-patches rather than just random scatter. A narrow binding and a pieced border would look awesome to complete it, or you could just keep adding scraps until it is the size you want then bind it.
Love it! What a great way to use up your scraps! With the price of fabrics these days every "piece" counts!
I love scrappy quilts!
Looking good to me and it will be goregeous once you are finished with it. I'm sure you'll be able to find a home for it. And I agree, with the price of fabric now a days, one has to use up all the scraps.
Wow, thanks everybody for the encouragement! I want it to be queen size to go on our bed! It reminds me of a quilt my grandma bought ( that I have in a storage tub) that is made with all kinds of stretchy fabrics and tied with yarn!
I love it..
