the St. Vincent De Paul store
app. 14 yards of unbleached muslin. 45" I think. It went straight into the washer because it smells slightly. 2 pieces about 7 yd. each. One real scrap that's green and brown print on green---for a vine if I do the applique monkey that I'd like try--it really is a scrap, but plenty for a vine. Another piece of heavier weight cotton that is black on white. May be a purse. Several pieces of knit of unknown content---probably 3 summer dresses for me, and one very light weight snuggle sack for August grandbaby. One piece of stuff that's big enough for a couple shopping bags-----for baby shower gifts, maybe. |
Great deal-congrats!

Sounds like you really scored there! Great job!

you scoffed up some great stuff - yeah!

I couldn't believe it when I found the muslin. I'd have paid $5 for each piece and been happy. When she said the whole pile was $5----------I didn't argue!
