I'm doing a happy dance, because tomorrow evening I get to take my first "Machine Quilting" class. 8) One of the supply requirements is crib-size batting. Do you think I should take something like WarmNatural or one of the bags of the polyester stuff? Any ideas? Any reasons it might make a difference?

if you've never done free motion quilting before i would go with warm natural/white.
i find its the smoothest & easiest batting to learn on. when you have some experience you can get into the more lofty battings so you can achieve peaks and valleys in your quilting. |

I would use a low loft. Warm & Natural is a good choice.
