What can I do with this fabric?

I was given a box of fabric scraps. In it is a large amount of strips and pieces of a torquoise and black stripe; flannel. I can't find any other fabric that looks good with it. What can I do with the pieces, besides just sewing them together in squares?

Without seeing the fabric, I'm guessing you've got the makings of a great boy quilt. Launder all the pieces, specially the flannels, then don't worry about mixing the flannels with that rest. Rail fences patterns might be your best bet.

Thanks for replying. But the fabric is a wide stripe of black and a wide stripe of torquoise. one fabric --2 colors. What color would look good to mix with it, for a block. to make a small quilt top?

I would probably use it for a quilt back.

OOPS! How wide? Might look good as a big block alternating with an interesting print.
