DeNQvo! I like it! I love the fabrics! That is a WHOLE LOT of funky!

Have you seen the Missouri Star Quilt Company's tutorial on the double slice layer cake?

It could be fun with those fabrics or you could add a solid in with them.

Is this Paula Nadelstern? I bought it from Mo Star and when I visited their shop, they had a quilt made just like I wanted. Black was used with it. The quilt was made with large stars. One layer cake made a star and the small cornerstones. I am making it soon for a 16 year old GS who is into bikes and skateboards. Good luck.

Oma66's quilt pattern would be perfect. It's kind of modern like the fabric. Would look perfect. You need something modern to go with the modern fabric, I think. I took a class on modern quilting and a lot of it is empty space. Like you put your blocks in the right hand lower corner and then have black around it and in the empty space. I love that kind of modern look.

I was going to suggest Seattle Streets which is similar to the DeNQvo posted above. Ithink that one is perfect for these fabrics.

I would also suggest the Missouri Star Quilt company double slice layer layer cake.

Definitely Potato Chip Quilt. Just stitch a 2 1/2 strip around each one. Use 2 or 3 solids including black for these. Sew blocks together. That way you don't have to cut them up. And it is QUICK!! Here's a link to some pictures:
