What color sashing should I use with this purple fabric?

I am planning a quilt for my grandaughter who loves purple and silver, but is a tomboy and doesn't like bright colors. Challenging!
I chose these purples because they had a soft hue. And I am choosing one of these patterns. Note, the triangle pattern is a Quilty pattern http://www.quiltylove.com/triangle-pop-quilt-pattern/ What color should I use with the purple to allow it to stand out, but not shout PURPLE!!!! do you have a really dark purple or striped purple? if not, maybe dark gray. the individual colors will show well all by themselves. Will be cute quilt!!

White would work, but black would be very striking with those fabrics! Nice selection.

That light yellow triangle in the photo would work well in my opinion.

White / Black / Very Dark Purple / Pink / Red, will all work. It depends on what finished look you want in the end.
My vote is White, Black or Pink. |
From these fabrics, third up from the bottom on the right.
This is a really nice collection. Watson |
lovely fabrics! I would see how a light grey would look.

Actually ... I would use the light print you have shown in the upper left corner of your selection.

None of these three patterns have a sashing. They just have a white background fabric. I would use all your colors as the triangles, and white as the background.

I would use white or black. The white will keep it soft, the black will really make the purple pop. If, as you say, she is a tomboy, she may not like it "soft" and would appreciate the black more.
