i finished this paper pieced 'scrappy log cabin diamonds'
i did enjoy making it, so many batiks, i don't want to think about the cost of it. it measures about 50 inches square. i don't have a place to hang it, it doesn't suit on a bed at all. i suppose i could donate it to a charity to sell or auction. any other ideas out there.?? |
Use it on a back of the sofa or chair,or a table topper. Every piece oof furnniture is covered inn my. House!!!

or add borders, corners, borders and make it bed size then you could probably sell it or give it as a very special gift...like a wedding gift. do a search to see some pictures of bed sized quilts that start as center star medallians, they are beautiful

I made a small log cabin quilt about four years ago that measures 50X50. I use it as a small lap quilt. When all you want is a light covering on your legs while watching TV, it's perfect! :-D

Maybe there is someone you could give it as a gift to...or donate it for a silent auction at your church or at a school or for an event of some sort.

@shadoh -
Is it the quilt in your avatar? Because, seriously, that is gorgeous. I'm sure you can find someplace, or wall, in your home to hang it. Even if it's too small for the bed, can't it be used a topper on the bed? On point it would reach across the top of queen-sized bed. If not, I guarantee you I can find a place for it. In my home. |
