Wow! That's one strong needle. What brand was it?

Quilting Aggi 08-06-2008 09:47 AM

Wow that is crazy!!! Yep I would definetely keep that as a reminder to myself too!! that's incredible how the needle didn't crack off!! You were very lucky, it could have been worse.. a broken needle in your eye or finger!

bearpaw 08-06-2008 09:55 AM

WOW is right!! I've never seen that happen before!

sandpat 08-06-2008 09:57 AM

Wow, I'd say you were really lucky! I'll have to start making sure I'm using my Schmetz (to lazy to check spelling) needles when I quilt. If that had been mine, I would have broken the machine

Wow, you must have been FLYING!

Moonpi 08-06-2008 10:48 AM

What a great conversation piece!

Your lucky you were not hurt.

sewnsewer2 08-06-2008 12:13 PM

OMG!! I'm so glad the needle didn't break off and hit you in the eye! I have never seen a needle go thru a safety pin like that.

Thanks for the reminder to slow down.

That is just too funny! Yep keep it cause people wont believe it otherwise!

Chele 08-06-2008 01:29 PM

I would love to do a testimonial advertisement for the needle company. WOW! That's one tough needle! Glad you didn't get hurt and the quilt didn't suffer.
