1. Don't use unidirectional fabrics for triangles in paper piecing unless you want to tear your hair out!

2. If the pattern was not designed for PP then its going to take MUCH longer to figure out the correct sequence of pieces.

3. Those tiny stitches are a b** to remove when you make a mistake.

What did you learn today?

I learned to not repeat mistakes others have made.

Now why couldn't I have listened to my mom and done that when I was growing up??

To take a much needed deep breath, hot cocoa break, then try again

I learned that maybe I should put those paper piecing patterns I just pulled out and find something different to do with a fat quarter challenge.

I had a bad day yesterday with cheap batting. I will return it to the store, cut up in two pieces. My brother says companys should not ship sh----. I learned the hard way. Very time consuming.

I learned that I need to clip my threads as I go because it sure takes a long time to clip the threads on a full/queen top when you have finished piecing the whole top. Never again will I make this mistake. LOL
