My guess is it is a bent titanium needle. The shop I used to work in sold Organ titanium needles. We were told that was one of the properties of the titaniums, they would bend not break. Some machine manufacturers advised against their use for that very reason. They claimed the bending but not breaking did more damage to a machine than the breaking of a regular needle.

Could it possibly be a needle for a machine they use or used years ago in shoe making or repair?
I remember our shoeman having the neatest machines and needles in his little shop. After all these years, I can still see his smiling face. What a nice man he was.

Maybe it is a needle used in a handheld device for upholstering. Ever seen some of those needles they use? Yikes - longggggggggg and curveddddddddddd.

I am afraid ladies to say it's not a machine needle if you look carefully at the video and you will notice the eye of the needle is not at the tip it's at the opposite end to the point. But we are getting warmer DH will try to bend one for me and if he succeed I will post a photo I am in Australia and if any ladies find one in USA please let me know where or maybe some kind lady can purchase one for me and i will certainly pay for it as well as postage.

Has anybody figured this one out? I love tied comforters. This would be so much simpler to use.

I agree I did alterations for many years and this is a needle from a blind hem stitch machine.

The bent needle sort of looks like a needle for a professional hemming machine. I have this machine and the needle is bent, like that.
