Dear friends, I saw something written on here about a week ago and thought I had saved it, but now can not find it. It was a pattern with a 45 deg angle and 2 squares that were cut in half and it made 2 sqs when done. I think it had to do with Billie Lauder...You cut the 45 and then sew and cut again.
You should google * Billie Lauder triangles* I bet you find it

Sounds like a half square triangle, and there are many ways to sew them.
