I'm finishing a baby quilt for my SIL's sister that lives in Italy.
My SIL paid for the fabric and I picked the fabric and design. Do I put my name on the quilt as the quilter and given by SIL? Not sure what is correct. Thanks for your help. |
I would probably put something like this:
Given to: By: Pieced and quilted by: Date: That would probably do it. It's whatever you want. Good luck. patti |
you should also add the fiber content if you use poly batting (or some other fiber that should be added to the label along with the 100% cotton fabrics) and care instructions. i also add my city, state and USA on my labels.

I'd make a two labels. A large one with the giver's info and a small one with my info

I put This quilt was lovingly chosen by .......... and quilted by......... on the quilt that I made for my DD's SIL. I think both of you should be acknowledged.
