Im sorting through things and I have a small bag that has tools, etc for my sewing machine and I found this in it. I dont have the book that came with my machine anymore and I cant figure out what it is used for. The blue part is rubber with grippy things on the bottom. My machine has storage for all the feet but there isnt a slot for this one. Is it some sort of walking foot? I know one of you experts will know what it is! And ill probably go..well, duh..of course thats what it is!!

it's a button foot. it holds the button in place while you sew it on using a zigzag stitch.

I did a lot of internet searching for feet for my new machine, seen a wide variety of them, but not one that looks like yours....I am curious too as to what it is used for

Isn't it wonderful that someone ALWAYS knows the answerwhen you ask a question on this forum! Thank you Patrice, I had no idea what it could be because of the little lip on the bottom. After you gave its use, it makes sense!

Yep, same with me, not a seamstress....but someday I should learn these things that my machine is capable of doing  Good One Patrice!!! 8)

What a cool idea. I never realized that they had a foot for that.
