What would you pay?

Our guild is having a "garage sale" after the meeting so you can eliminate duplicates, orphan blocks, sewing machines almost anything. All items must be priced. It's in 2 weeks. What would you be willing to pay for a Bernina BSR that's never been used. I just want a fair price and to get it out of my drawer. I've looked all over but can't find any information.

I've seen them on ebay recently, going for $300.00 or so, that was not an ending price though. Check out ebay and see what they end up selling for.

The price of one new is $1000 but unless you have a Bernina that can use it....Hard to say, you might have better luck advertising it at your guild sale and having them contact you. I don't think anyone will be in a position to pay what it is worth at a garage sale.

See if your guild would allow you to place an "ad" in the newsletter, ours does.
Would nearby shops allow you to post an announcement of sale ... if they don't carry sewing machines?
