I was in Kansas City during the shophop but for a different reason. I asked to stop at one shop so I went to Prairie Point. They had a lady demonstrating the Binding Tool. I was so impressed that I reached in front of her and bought 2. One for me and one for a quilting buddy. They have a tutorial on You tube.

OK so I tried the link to You tube. It takes you to You tube in the box type the binding tool and then it will pop up with the tutorial

I haven't used it yet but I think this may become a favorite of mine. Here is the link: http://suepellanddesigns.com/shop/category/tools/
It is the orange rulers. There are 6 different size scallops on the three rulers. It can be used to make leaves, flowers, and as a quilting guide for lines. I am really looking forward to using it. |
I bought it but would just as soon do binding as Sharon Schambers does in her glue binding tute. doesn't use a tool at all.

Straw Needles. I love them when I am hand sewing the binding onto the quilt back. My fingers do not get sore. Using reg. needles they did.
|
My newest tool is the bias tape maker. I used to do it myself but using the tool is a lot faster
|
You can all laugh at me but it was the Quilting Board. I learned so much from here from everyone here with their ideas and pictures and items to sell.
Thanks |

I have the binding tool too and I love it.
