I have a couple of quilter's stencils. What is the best way to store them without bending?
Right now i have them in a plastic bag. Any suggestions??? |
I have a nail or hook on the wall behind the door that I place mine on

Wherever you can get to them and remember where they are ... as long as they remain flat.
Mine are in a chest that serves as a coffee table in my living room. That chest holds a lot of my sewing/quilting items and no one knows because it looks so neat. ali |
I have some on a sturdy pin hanging on the wall and then I have also bought some sticky holders that hang on the wall. I think as long as they lay or hang flat they should be oky dokay..

I have mine flat in a storage tote.
|
If nothing else, put them in the bottom of a drawer where they'll lay flat. I have mine hanging on a wall but some people don't like to do that.
|
i hang mine; have a regular wire clothes hanger i just put the (hook) through the top hole (for hanging) and hang them all together in my sewing room closet.
|
I keep mine in my sewing desk. There is a drawer just for them.
|
I have 4 hooks on the side of a shelving unit...
I store them by "size"... small square large square narrow border wide border |

Small stencils I keep in plastic sleeves in a notebook, larger ones I hang from a hook with shower curtain rings.

Hello and welcome from Ontario.
|
I hang mine up in the sewing closet on the 'clip type' hangers that pants come with. Works great and the hangers are free!
