I'm coming back to quilting after a few years away. When I started my break, Yellow Brick Road was still popular but Turning Twenty had just become the craze. What is the newest "easy" or "fat quarter friendly" pattern?

For FQ's, probably the Turning Twenty series of quilts.
For charm packs, the ubiquitous Disappearing 9 Patch (D9P).

I have a pattern that I love that I can whip up in an evening. It is called "Bits and Pieces" by Mountain Peak Designs. Uses fat quarters. I like it better than the Yellow Brick Road. I have probably made about 43 YBR and about 40 Bits and Pieces.

I'm going to do a yellow brick road for one of my grandsons.
