I wish I lived 15 miles away from a Wal-Mart...actually any store. LOL. It is 8 miles to the end of the road then another 30 to the closest Wally World. Our K-Mart here in WV, as far as I know hasn't started selling crafts, but there are craft items and sewing machines on the K-Mart website. We are finally getting a local quilt shop. A local lady is getting ready to open up "The Needle Basket". She is putting my raggedy purses in there so I got to sneak a peek at the store before she opens. She doesn't open until October 9th, and I can't wait! I am willing to pay a little extra for the local fabric as opposed to driving an hour to get lower priced fabric but by the time you count gas, it would be cheaper to go local.
