When do I stop being a

I posted a ISO in the free offers and donations for some scraps (batting) and I guess I'm not allowed to post there because I'm a new user...well I've posted now 91 posts and have participated in a ton of topics including an upcoming contest...so when do I stop being a "New User" and become an official member?

I think you have to do so many posts in a week

Jim's Gem 09-21-2011 06:47 PM

I think it is two weeks of being active on here.

BeckyB 09-21-2011 06:49 PM

"a regular here" -- at least 20 posts during the two weeks up to date (assigned/removed automatically); does not include posts in the Classifieds section; updated daily at 5:30 AM eastern time

note the 2 weeks...all posts are registered in just the 2 week period. I loose my stat all the time

After 90 days you should become a regular if you keep to 20 posts in each two week period.

You have to be a member here 90 days to sell items or ask for donations- it is all explained in the rules :

From the "Main" topic:

User Titles

User titles associated with accounts have the following structure:

"new user" -- first two weeks after the registration.

"a regular here" -- at least 20 posts during the two weeks up to date (assigned/removed automatically); does not include posts in the Classifieds section; updated daily at 5:30 AM eastern time.

"community benefactor" -- outlined here(link on original page).

"top poster" -- a user with the highest number of posts.

"moderator" -- users who help moderate the board.

User accounts registered over two weeks ago (on any given day) but with less than 20 posts in the previous two weeks don't have any title associated with them.

I stand corrected. I did not look and yes, it is ninety days.

BETTY62 09-21-2011 07:15 PM

I think it may be 20 post a week.

yep you gotta work at the regular user bit. Doesn't take much tho when you admire the quilts that have been posted here.
