Where should I go with this vintage flimsy and set of blocks?

A "I can't use a computer to do anything" friend/guild member has donated these items to our Charity Quilt group. IMO they are far too valuable to complete and give away. It makes much more sense to me to allow someone who would treasure them to have a crack at it and then use that money to buy things our group actually needs (read batting - lots of it). There are additional blocks, portions of blocks, hexagons, and green diamonds so the flimsy could be made larger.
I have not been able to determine the name of the other set of blocks which are essentially a nine patch with elongated corner pieces (looks like a pieced center portion of a DWR - see photo below).
This much is known: the quilt maker was from Baxter Springs, Kansas (how she ended up in central NJ is a mystery). She was born in 1905 and passed in 1964. It is believed that she started hand-sewing this quilt top and the blocks in about 1944. At some point, she did a mix of hand and machine piecing. I believe all of the printed fabrics are feedsacks - maybe even the solids. The flimsy is 6.5 blocks long by 6 blocks wide (the blocks are 12"). In addition there are 13 full blocks pieced into rows, 25 blocks that are center + 2 rounds, 16 that are center + 1 round, a bag of hexies that are 10" high (can't/don't want to count them) and a smaller bag of the green diamonds. Any ideas about where I should go with this???

When our guild had a similar top donated to the comfort quilt program, it was raffled off at a guild meeting and the money used for supplies/batting.

Sounds like a good idea to me.

The bottom block on the bedspread looks like Improved Nine-Patch to me. It would be put together with ovals. Here is a link to how it looks with the oval pieces:

yes, Improved 9-patch. Also seems to have a lot of 1930s fabric.
