ai don't remember where I saw it, but it was a window quilt and it looked as if gazing out of window. I've seen them before only this was rounded of on the top- am iI making any sence? :oops:

I believe what you are looking for is a stained glass quilt.some of them are just beautiful I f these are not it let me know :P :D

the stained glass technique is great for the quilt mama described. i've also seen them made using applique techniques, etc. basically, it's a scenic quilt with window sashing and panes added to the "picture". i think i saw one demonstrated on Simply Quilts.

i can't remember where i saw the one i thought of when i read the question. anyhoooo ... here's a link to a traditional attic windows pattern that has a differently shaped top, just in case that's what mama wants.
